The challenge
Te Kōtuku Ki Te Rangi sought a system to support their crucial work in Māori mental health care, as their existing platform failed to meet their operational needs.
They required a solution capable of managing inpatient and outpatient care, tracking activities and tasks, and allowed for staff to record notes at both individual and facility levels.
To ensure accountablility, it was also key that we have notifications and escalation processes for accountability within the system and it was essential that the system could generate reports for administration and maintain a secure audit trail of access requests.
The Sniper solution
We replaced their outdated system with a Blazor Web App designed specifically to meet their needs. The new system streamlines care management, ensures tasks are completed, and supports their kaupapa Māori approach to mental health care.
What we did
Blazor web app development
Redesigned and rebuilt their system as a Blazor Web App for enhanced usability and performance.
Activity and task tracking
Enabled tracking of activities and tasks for individuals under care, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
Centralized notes
Provided tools for staff to record notes on individuals or across facilities, enhancing communication and documentation.
Automated notifications
Integrated email and SMS notifications to ensure tasks are actioned, with escalation to managers if tasks remain incomplete within a set timeframe.
Administrative reporting
Developed tools to generate reports for administrative use, aiding decision-making and operational oversight.
Enhanced security
Implemented audit functionality to log all read and write access requests, ensuring robust data security and compliance.
